Privacy Policy

The short version: R4X Groovebox collects no data. The app connects to no server, has no account system, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Nothing you make in it leaves your iPad — unless you export it yourself.

No data collection

The app does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. There is no sign-up, no cloud, no crash reports sent to us and no in-app purchases. Apple’s privacy label for this app therefore reads: Data Not Collected.

Microphone

The app asks for microphone access so you can record sound straight onto a pad. Those recordings are processed locally only and written as files into the app’s own folder on your iPad. They are never transmitted.

Files

The app reads and writes only the projects, samples and kits you choose yourself — inside its own folder and wherever you place them in the Files app.

Ableton Link

When Ableton Link is switched on, the app exchanges tempo and beat synchronisation only, with other Link-enabled devices on the same local network. No personal data is transmitted and no connection to the internet is made.

This website is a static page: no cookies, no analytics, no embedded third-party content.
